Introduction:

Employers have an annual Open Enrollment period when eligible employees can renew, change, or cancel their medical, dental, vision and other benefit enrollments.

Benefit Administration systems must be configured to offer the correct benefit plans to employee populations, communicate the details and costs of the coverage options, then store the enrollments and send to the insurance carriers. Configuration of the systems is also required to support New Hire or Life Event changes in eligibility or enrollments.

The Role:

As a member of the Benefit Administration Services team, the Benefits Client Manager participates in all stages of the development lifecycle for client (Plan Sponsor) Open Enrollment. Under the direction of a Project Manager, the Client Manager will support the full life cycle of Open Enrollment from discovery, documentation, configuration, testing, deployment, through post go-live support. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication and time management skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, business critical environment.

Project responsibilities include:

• Work directly with Plan Sponsors
• Facilitate meetings (online) and document meeting minutes

• Gather and document business requirements for Open Enrollment
• Set and manage Plan Sponsor and vendor expectations; consult toward best practices as applicable
• Liaison to technical team representing Plan Sponsor requirements
• Participate in multiple projects simultaneously; prioritize work with management as needed
• Manage timelines in accordance with each project
• Attend internal project meetings, provide status on activities and deliverables
• Identify risks and communicate issues to Project Manager and Stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Ability to multitask and self-manage work aligned with priorities; Detail-oriented
• Able to effectively apply strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues
• Skilled at successfully gathering requirements and presenting project updates to stakeholders
• Experience and understanding of US Health Care industry (Carrier, Plan Sponsor, or Administration)
• * HR and Benefits transactions: New Hire, Benefit Election, and Life Events
• Hands on experience in Open Enrollment requirements, setup, testing
• Experience or Certification from a HCM/HRIS vendor module (Payroll, Benefits, WFM)

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
